A. You are given $450.00 in order to admit you and two friends to at least four tourist attractions. B. You are to visit Mt. Washington's peak and include the weather of that day (temperature-high and low, precipitation, weather conditions, peak gusts). C. Your most important task is to write a story about your adventures but DO NOT name the attractions in your story. Make sure your story is in final form for a friend to read. Keep a list of your attractions you visit as an answer key. D. Use only precise directions from JBES to all of your attractions and back to JBES. Only using North, East, South, and West as directions along with Route Numbers will allow you to take a vacation without getting lost. E. You also need to keep a current balance of your money as you spend it (a calculator may come in handy). You are to spend as close to $450.00 as you can without spending more (no borrowing $!). Your final balance should be less than $1.00 Attached is a balance sheet which my be helpful. Please number each set of math equations so you will know it is from a new attraction. F. After your story is in final form (edited for spelling, grammar, content and directions) and includes the Mt. Washington's weather, give your story to a friend who will try to follow your directions and on a separate piece of paper they keep track of your attractions. You will conference to correct the vacation story and attraction list. G. Finally, you will give a friend your math balance sheet to have the math checked. Again, conference with your friend and correct the math if needed.
