Real Life Challenge:
The Bartlett Board of Selectmen has been asked to contribute town funds to the completion of the bypass. They will be taking this matter under advisement at their next meeting. At this time, they are not sure if involvement would be in the town’s best interests. They are looking for input from the community to assist them in making their decision.
We have been asked to undertake the study of this issue and present them with our findings. We will study maps of the bypass route and economics and how they apply to our life in Bartlett. We will interview residents to assess local feelings towards the bypass. We will examine Bartlett history to determine possible future trends. After examining all the evidence, we will present the selectmen with both the positive and negative arguments to the bypass issue.
