"This job shadow experience has made me more enthusiastic about my choice of a future career"
"Daniel Pink claims that the nature of the workplace is changing yet again, and that power will soon shift to people who have strong right-brain qualities (that is, aesthetics, feeling, and creativity).

According to Pink, the key to success lies in developing and cultivating six senses: design, story, symphony, empathy, play, and meaning.

In fact, Pink compares the Conceptual Age to past periods of intense change, such as the Renaissance and the Industrial Revolution. Can't get bigger than that."

  FREE RIDE PARK

The Free Ride Park Project is a grassroots effort to build an athletic facility designed and constructed specifically for skateboarders, in-line skaters and freestyle bicycle riders.

Our plan is to offer the youth of the Valley a place to congregate, relax and perform skills in a safe environment. The project group is made up of over 200 supporters in which 60 people are actively working on committees for the vision to become a reality. The committees are made up of both adults and youth who live in Mt Washington Valley.

Our goal is to provide a safe environment for our youth to practice these sports off the streets and parking lots, as well as away from places of business.

The Free Ride Park will initially be based at Cranmore Mountain, through an agreed upon partnership. We hope that we eventually will move the equipment to a town park. The Conway Police Department and the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office wholeheartedly support this project.
