"This job shadow experience has made me more enthusiastic about my choice of a future career"
"Daniel Pink claims that the nature of the workplace is changing yet again, and that power will soon shift to people who have strong right-brain qualities (that is, aesthetics, feeling, and creativity).

According to Pink, the key to success lies in developing and cultivating six senses: design, story, symphony, empathy, play, and meaning.

In fact, Pink compares the Conceptual Age to past periods of intense change, such as the Renaissance and the Industrial Revolution. Can't get bigger than that."

  HEALTH CSI CAMP
At the Memorial Hospital, campers toured the ER, OR and Obstetrics.

The mission of the camp is to introduce local youth to the wide variety of careers available in health care. Campers participated in hands-on activities and demonstrations that gave them a greater understanding of the future opportunities available to them.

On Monday campers visited the White Mt. Community Health Center. Here campers are learning how to do tympanograms.
Campers received training in CPR by Terri Goldblatt of the MWV Chapter of the Red Cross. All 16 obtained their certification!
Campers learned about acupuncture from Kenji at the Saco River Medical Group.
On Tuesday campers learned mountain rescue at SOLO Wilderness Medicine School, a global leader in Wilderness Medical education.
Campers got a visit from LifeFlight of Maine. Lifeflight provides Air Medical service throughout the State of Maine.

The Health CSI Camp is sponsored by the Mt. Washington Valley School to Career Partnership, The Memorial Hospital, MWV Chapter of the American Red Cross, North Conway Ambulance Services, NH Community Technical College, SOLO Wilderness Medicine School, Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation Center, Saco River Medical Group, White Mt.
